Camp Brooklyn Fundraiser at Morton's the Steak House with Special Guest

Join Morton's and NY Giant's Player Sean Landeta at the annual Camp Brooklyn fundraiser/live auction.
Camp Brooklyn arranges fully-paid two-week stays at sleep-away camps for Brooklyn children. Last summer 200 children attended and Camp Brooklyn hopes to double that number this summer.
Ticket: $50 per guest

Time: 12pm-2pm
The event offers three-courses of signature cuisine, fine wine and a live auction. 100% of the live auction funds and a portion of proceeds benefit Camp Brooklyn.

Bridge Cleaners & Tailors Collecting Coats for Kids
December 9th, 2009
Starting December 7th, Bridge Cleaners & Tailors will kick off their annual Coats For Kids drive. Bridge Cleaners & Tailors, Downtown Brooklyn’s premiere dry cleaner, is accepting gently used child, adult and baby-sized winter coats from December 7, 2009 – January 31, 2010. This will start Coats For Kids 25th year of service. Coats collected will be donated to Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service.
Donations will be accepted at Bridge Cleaners & Tailors, 204 Livingston Street; Sid’s Hardware, 345 Jay Street; MetroTech BID, 4 MetroTech Center, Ground Floor during business hours, CLS BID Holiday Welcome Center on Hoyt Plaza, corner of Schermerhorn Street; and the Fulton St Holiday Center at Modell’s, 464 Fulton Street.

Willoughby Windows Extended till March 12, 2010
Willoughby Windows exhibition is extended until March 12, 2010. Make sure you check it out! We are in the process of rotating out several spaces with new pieces.
The artists participating include:
Ad Hoc Art staff/interns, Cannonball Press, Chris Stain, Cycle, Dennis McNett, Ellis G, Gaia, Greg Lamarche, John Ahearn, Josh MacPhee, Lady Pink, Logan Hicks, Logic, Michael De Feo, Morning Breath, and Tom Beale.
Willoughby Windows is an ambitious creative venture featuring 12 storefronts (88-106 Willoughby) of downtown Brooklyn including installations by 15+ artists. The project was conceived by MetroTech BID, in cooperation with United American Land and Avalon Bay, and curated by our partner Ad Hoc Art, a gallery in East Williamsburg.
